International Transport

International Services

Welcome to the Global Aircraft Consulting International portion of the website! Understanding international travel and how it can positively affect your business can be a perplexing, time consuming and a costly task if you don’t proceed in a fashion that is proven to succeed. The United States is one of the simplest places to file a flight plan and depart when you want to and arrive at your desired destination. Understanding the process is key and planning is imperative in successfully completing an international trip. Take a moment to look at the NAT Europe 24 (2014) video below to witness the incredible amount of aircraft that operate every day just across the North Atlantic and Europe. This is 10 years ago. The traffic has probably doubled since then.

If the flow of traffic weren’t well planned and coordinated, I couldn’t imagine the chaos that would threaten the safety of our transportation system. The complexity of the international travel is real. Global Aircraft Consulting, as the name suggests, is a global company with contacts thought out the world. We have traveled the world extensively and are very aware of the challenges that can be encountered within the aircraft industry. GAC is available for delivering aircraft to international destinations and mentoring the pilots that have never flown internationally. The destinations and the aircraft used to navigate to the destinations will play a big factor in planning a trip. The Praetor 600 has distance superiority over the other mid-sized Embraer aircraft but it doesn’t stop you from enjoying the destinations that you desire in a Phenom 300.

We have personally made hundreds of crossing on the North Atlantic and Pacific with destinations such as Tokyo, London, Frankfurt and points throughout South America. The North Atlantic Track systems have special rules to follow if you are traveling to Europe. Your aircraft will need special equipment. If your company so desires we are available for personal travel to insure the procedures are followed. Knowledge is power when it comes to international travel. I’m not going to pretend to have all the answers but I know how to find them. We also have access to local training facilities that can provide your flight department the professional training required to insure a successful crossing. If your pilots are inexperienced in the procedures required to travel to your desired international destination, we can be a member of the crew and mentor the crew on international procedures and the intricacies of travel or assist your pilot as a PIC or SIC crewmember.

For your convenience, I have made available several useful files that have invaluable information for an international trip.
